Take two cups of Trick Pony, one cup of Shania
Twain, and a spoonful of Loretta Lynn. Then toss it in a pot and set the
damn thing on fire. What you get is the hottest up-and-coming Country
band;
Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus.
Pam
Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus has a rockin' style that blends the
contemporary Country sounds of Sugarland and Faith Hill
with the Classic Rock influence of Pat Benetar and Joan Jet.
Still maintaining a style and sound all their own, the music is
refreshingly honest and spans the emotional spectrum. Anyone young or
old will find a way to identify with Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus.
While fronted by Pam Lyn, the engine that powers The Royal Ruckus features
three-time
Grammy nominee and Emmy Award-winning Bassist
Philip Bynoe, as well as the
thundering drums of Gary
Fergueson, whose credentials include Stevie Nicks, Eddie
Money, The New Radicals, K.D. Lang, and the legendary Ray Charles.
Not to be outdone, the Royal Ruckus employs the musical talents of Jackson Allen and Swedish import
John Huldt on dueling guitars.
Pam Lyn
and the band have been booked to
perform as local support for national touring acts such as Trace Adkins
and Jessica Simpson, among others. Additional performance credits include: FOX TV
nationwide broadcast of NASCAR, American Motorcycle Association, L.A.
County Fair, U.S. Special Olympics, and many hotel/casinos
throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona.
In addition to Country, the band members
have backgrounds in Southern, Classic, and Alternative Rock, Jazz, and
Classical music. Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus is proud of their
reputation for quality musicianship, energy, and bringing an
unparalleled level of professionalism to every performance. The band
performs a mix of contemporary Country hits as well as Country Classics, Southern and Classic Rock favorites, and original songs.
